"Curse of the Ring" is Abdulmalik's Senior Thesis film at Pratt, currently in development. This project allowed Abdulmalik to further develop skills in Animation, Modeling, Lighting, and many more aspects of the 3D pipeline. The main focus of this project was to practice Cinematic Story-telling techniques, and to test Abdulmalik's directory skills.

"Midnight Snack" is a comedic short film about a man who unexpectedly discovers a hidden talent in a highly unusual situation. It was created as a playful exploration to further develop Abdulmalik's skills in 3D animation during his fifth semester at Pratt Institute. The MBC Academy honored Midnight Snack with the "Best Saudi Animation Film" award at the 12th Showreel of the Effat International Student Film Festival.
